Prashantam, J.M.P. de Matos, was born in Portugal in 1949.
He studied medicine in Paris, going on with his studies in many countries and meeting extraordinary men in
different parts of Asia and in the East.
In 1974 attends in Tokyo the courses of the Japanese Shiatsu school’s master, T. Namikoshi and he practices the Zen Buddhism meditations, living as a zen monk under the supervision of the master Koku Nishimura, great Master of the flowing of Tani-Ha of Bodhidharma lineage.
In 1976 he meets the enlighten Master Osho and decided to live, meditate and work in his Ashram in Pune.
In 1982 he graduated at the Heartwood School of Massage in California and in 1986 he went back to India and Osho chooses him for the management of the Shiatsu Institute of the “Academy of Healing Arts” in Pune.
For almost 30 years he has been leading groups of meditation and inner growth, taking his understanding and experience in Russia, Japan, Australia, New Zeeland, South America and many European countries among whose, Italy.
He lived with aborigine tribes of Australia, Philippine, with shamans of Brazil, Andes and Russia, with Tibetan doctors in Sikkim.
In 2000 he becomes a member of the British Complementary Medicine Association – B.C.M.A. –
His work in Italy had a great development and in 2001 he created the School “Osho Divine Healing Arts”.
